The Academic Chunks of English (ACE) Resource
The Academic Chunks of English (ACE) resource is an academic phrase list. It is the first of its kind in regard to methodology (a unique concgramming method), its large scale, its inclusion of original example sentences for each unit that aim to avoid adding additional learning burden with their context, and the manual checking of each item to decide whether or not it should be included. More can be read about how this resource was created in the following publication:
Rogers, J., Daulton, F., Dickinson, P., Muller, A., Reid, G., & Stoeckel, T. (2021). The creation and application of a large-scale corpus-based academic multi-word unit list. English for Specific Purposes, 62(4), 142-157.
This resource is also being further developed through a Type C Japanese Society for the Promotion of Science Grants-in-Aid:
Principal Researcher: James Rogers
Title: On the Creation of Software to Improve Japanese Learners' Academic English
Time period: 4/1/2021-3/31/2024

This resource is also unique in that it is freely available and users can search for multi-word units or examples sentences that contain specific words using the online interface below.
